Meeting at 10.30am at the Pavilion Coffee House, Chatburn, BB7 4JY.  Tel: 01200 440760. (SD 765 436). Directions: heading north on the A59, go past the northern turn off to Clitheroe (A671), and take the next left towards Chatburn, i.e. Worston Road. Turn right onto Clitheroe Road and the Pavilion Coffee Hose is on the right on the way to Chatburn.  Ok for us to leave cars on the car park.  Walk follows the Ribble Way towards Sawley Abbey Ruins, then back via Downham Green and Worsaw End across fields.  Approx 7 miles.  Route may vary towards the end and how muddy the fields are.
