Meeting at 10.30am at Underbarrow car park. (SD 489925).  Take the A6 into Kendal and left on Underbarrow Road (where the A6 turns to the right).  Walk will go along Scout Scar and down through Barrowfield and through woodland to Windy Howe and onto Brigsteer Road.  Then right for a short distance and then left along Burnbarrow Scar and Helsington Barrows, down to Brigsteer Road and Bradley Field.  Back toward Scout Scar and right to the car park.  Approx 6.75 miles and 1029' asc.
